Brake Hose/Line: Service and Repair
Rear Brake Hose Replacement (RWD)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the brake pipe fittings.
2. Remove the retainer.
3. Remove the bolt.
4. Remove the brake hose.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: After installation, the brake hose must not be twisted and the brake hose must not contact other components.
1. Install the brake hose.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the retainer.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Connect the brake pipe fittings.
^
Tighten the brake pipe fittings to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
Bleed the brakes. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding.
