9. Connect the outer tie rods to the steering knuckles.
10. Install the outer tie rods to steering knuckles retaining nuts.
Tighten the outer tie rods to steering knuckles retaining nuts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).
11. Install the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
12. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
13. Lower the vehicle.
14. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding.
15. It is not necessary to adjust the front toe unless a tie rod end or the steering gear has been replaced. Refer to Front Toe Adjustment.
16. Lower the vehicle.

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the outer tie rod. Refer to Rack and Pinion Outer Tie Rod End Replacement.
2. Remove the rack and pinion gear. Refer to Power Steering Gear Replacement.
Important: All boot parts must be replaced when replacing the inner tie rod.
3. Remove and discard the small seal retaining clamp (1).
