Supercede:
This bulletin is being revised to add cooling fan as a keyword. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 04-06-04-090A (Section 06 -
Engine/Propulsion System).
Condition
Some customers may comment that the SES light is on. Diagnosis may indicate that DTC P0483 has set.
Cause
The diagnostic calibration in the PCM may allow the DTC P0483 to set improperly.
Correction
Reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with a new service calibration titled " New calibration to reduce the potential for setting P0483" listed
under "Engine Diagnostic" tab, released with TIS satellite data update version 1 on January 8, 2005 or newer. Refer to Service Programming System
(SPS) in SI.

Please contact all customers that were told they would be called when a repair became available.
