The brake hose fitting bolt
Tighten
Tighten the brake hose bolt to 54 Nm (40 lb ft).
6. Bleed the caliper. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding in Hydraulic Brakes.
7. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Wheel Installation in Tires and Wheels.
8. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle.
9. With the engine running, firmly pump the brake pedal 3 times.
10. Check the brake system for leaks.
Brake Caliper Replacement (Rear Wheel)
IMPORTANT: Refer to Disc Brakes System Description.
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle and support the vehicle with proper safety stands.
2. Mark the relationship of the wheel to the hub.
3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Wheel Removal in Tires and Wheels.
4. If you are removing the caliper for overhaul, disconnect the brake hose from the caliper.
4.1. Disconnect the brake hose fitting and two gaskets.
4.2. Discard the gaskets.
4.3. Plug the hole in the caliper housing, and in the brake hose fitting.
