NOTICE: Make sure the brake hose is not twisted or kinked after installation. Damage to the hose could result.
5. Install the brake hose fitting, two new gaskets, and the brake hose fitting bolt.

Tighten the brake hose fitting to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
6. If you removed the brake hose fitting, bleed the brake hydraulic system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding in Hydraulic Brakes.
7. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Installation.
8. Lower the vehicle and remove the safety stands.
9. With the engine running, firmly pump the brake pedal three times.
10. Check the brake system for leaks.

DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
1. Drain all the brake fluid from the caliper.
CAUTION: Do not place your fingers in front of the piston in order to catch or protect the piston while applying compressed air. This
could result in serious injury.
NOTICE: Use just enough air pressure to ease the piston out of the bore. You can damage a blown-out piston even with the padding.
2. Pad the interior of the caliper with clean shop towels.
3. Remove the piston from the caliper bore.
