8. Remove the hub and bearing assembly from the axle joint splined shaft.
9. Remove the rotor. Refer to BRAKE ROTOR REPLACEMENT (FRONT WHEEL) in DISC BRAKES.

Important:  Lay the hub and bearing assembly on the hub bolt on the outboard side. This prevents damage or contamination to the bearing seal.

10. Remove the bolts.
11. Remove the splash shield.
12. Remove the cotter pin.
13. Remove the nut.

14. Remove the tie rod end from the knuckle using the J 24319-B.
15. Remove the cotter pins.
