Tighten
Tighten the screws to 14 N.m (10 lb ft).
3. Lubricate the inside of the crank arm socket with white lithium grease, GM P/N 9985885 or equivalent.
IMPORTANT: Assemble the transmission assembly to the crank arm past the second detent. Compress the seal to a maximum height of 25
mm (1 inch).
4. Using the J 39529, install the transmission drive link to the wiper motor crank arm.
5. Install the cowl vent grille.
6. Install the wiper arm assemblies.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
