Envoy 4WD V8-5.3L (2007)
1. Drill 8 mm (5/16 in.) plug weld holes in the service part as necessary in the locations noted from the original part.
2. Prepare all of the attachment surfaces as necessary.
3. Apply a weld-thru primer to all of the bare metal surfaces.
4. Position the hinge bracket.
5. Plug weld accordingly.
6. Clean and prepare all of the welded surfaces.
IMPORTANT: Prior to refinishing, refer to publication GM4901M-D-01 GM Approved Refinish Materials for recommended products. Do not
combine the paint systems. Refer to the paint manufacturer's recommendation.
7. Apply sound deadening materials.
8. Apply an approved anti-corrosion primer.
9. Apply sealers and refinish as necessary.
10. Install all of the related panels and components.
