Envoy 4WD V8-5.3L VIN M (2005)
1. Open the end gate.
2. Remove the screws retaining the back of the moveable roof panel to the moveable roof assembly.
3. Remove the front lock pins retaining the front of the moveable roof panel to the moveable roof assembly.
4. Slide the roof panel forward approximately 15 cm (6 in).
5. Lift up the rear of the roof panel and rotate the rear of the panel to release the moveable roof panel bushings (1) from the tracks of the moveable
roof frame assembly.
IMPORTANT: Be careful not to scratch or chip the paint.
6. Remove the panel from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the front lock pins to the moveable roof panel.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten the front lock pins to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
2. Operate the moveable roof until the drive slides lift up and begin moving forward.
