7. Front and rear brake pipes from the combination valve.
8. Three hydraulic line from the tube adapters on the BPMV.
9. Three 13mm bolts that fasten the BPMV bracket to the vehicle frame.
10. BPMV and bracket from the vehicle.
11. Three 13mm bolts retaining the BPMV to the bracket.
12. Four T-25 Torx bolts from the EBCM.
13. EBCM from BPMV. A light amount of force may be necessary to remove the EBCM.
Important
-
Do not pry on the EBCM or BPMV. Excessive force will cause damage to the EBCM.
Important
-
Do not reuse the EPCM gasket or mounting bolts. Always install a new gasket and new bolts.
14. Three Allen bolts from the combination valve.
15. Combination valve from the BPMV.
16. Two transfer tubes.
Important
-
Do not reuse the transfer tubes. Always install new transfer tubes.
Install or Connect
1. New transfer tubes into the combination valve until fully seated.
2. Combination valve to the BPMV.
3. Three Allen bolts that fasten the combination valve to the BPMV.
Tighten
-
Three Allen bolts to 8Nm (6 lb. ft.), then to 16 Nm (012 lb. ft.).
4. New EPCM gasket to the EPMV.
Important
-
When installing the gasket, do not use RTV or any other sealant on the gasket or mating surfaces.
5. EPCM to the EPMV.
Inspect
-
Gasket to insure correct alignment.
6. Four new EPCM Torx bolts.
Tighten
-
Four bolts to 5 Nm (39 lb. in.) in an X pattern.
7. BPMV to bracket.
8. Three 13mm EPMV to bracket retaining bolts.
Tighten
-
Three 13mm bolts to 9 Nm (7 lb. ft.).
9. EPMV and bracket on to the vehicle frame.
10. Three 13mm bolts that fasten the BPMV Bracket to the vehicle frame.
Tighten
-
Three bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb. ft.).
11. Front and rear brake pipes to the combination valve.
Tighten
-
Brake pipe fitting to 30 Nm (22 lb. ft.).
12. Three hydraulic lines to the tube adapters on the BPMV.
Tighten
-
Tighten the three hydraulic lines to 30 Nm(22 lb. ft.).
