MODELS:
1992 G-VAN WITH HYDRAMATIC 4L80E/4L80-EHD TRANSMISSION
Some HYDRA-MATIC 4L80E/4L80-EHD transmissions will have a new pan assembly with a drain plug. This design allows drainage of transmission
fluid without removing the bottom pan and is a result of customer requests for improved serviceability.
The new torque specification for the drain plug is 25 lb.ft. (34 N-m ).

Starting October 8, 1991 (Julian Date 281) all 1992 AFP, MHP, and MPP HYDRA-MATIC 4L80E/4L80-EHD models were built with the new oil pan
assembly.
