4. The 2-way electrical connector from the combination valve.
5. Front and rear brake pipes.
6. Three Allen bolts that fasten the combination valve to the BPMV.
7. Combination valve from the BPMV.
8. Two transfer tubes.
Important

Do not reuse the transfer tubes. Always install new transfer tubes with a new combination valve.
Important

Verify that the replacement combination valve has the same pin punched identification code as the old part.
Install or Connect
1. Two new transfer tubes into the combination valve until fully seated.
2. Combination valve to the BPMV.
3. Three combination valve fastening bolts.
Tighten
-
Three Allen bolts to 8 Nm (6 lb. ft.), Then to 16 Nm (12 lb. ft.).
4. Front and rear brake pipes to the combination valve.
Tighten
-
Brake pipe fittings to 30 Nm (22 lb. ft.).
5. The 2-way electrical connector.
6. ABS shield.
7. Three 13mm ABS shield bolts.
Tighten
-
Three bolts to 12 Nm (8 lb. ft.).
8. Bleed the system.
Important
-
Verify that the combination valve metering rod is depressed during bleeding.
9. Return to the Diagnostic System Check.
