G 2500 3/4 Ton Van V8-350 5.7L VIN K TBI (1995)
Camshaft: Service and Repair
Depending on vehicle and engine application, the grille, radiator and condenser (if equipped) must be removed to facilitate camshaft removal.
1. Remove intake manifold. Refer to, Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair. See: Intake Manifold
2. Remove pushrods and valve lifters.
3. Remove timing case cover and timing chain. Refer to, Engine/Timing Components/Timing Chain/Service and Repair. See: Timing
Components
4. Install two 5/16-18 x 4 inch bolts into camshaft bolt holes, then pull camshaft out of cylinder block.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
