There may be adhesive on the adjuster body as shown in Figure 3. If the adhesive interferes with clip installation, remove the adhesive with a
knife or sharp tool.
5.
Lower the vehicle and install the Campaign Identification Label.
Shift Cable Adjustment Procedure
This procedure is to be used ONLY if one or more transmission detent positions cannot be obtained (no shift indicator light).
1.
Place the steering column transmission shift lever into Park position.
2.
Turn the ignition key to off, remove the key and raise the vehicle on a hoist.
3.
Unlock the lock button as shown in Figure 4.

DO NOT REMOVE the lock button or adjuster body.
