Radiator: Service and Repair
RADIATOR AND FAN SHROUDS
REMOVAL
1. Drain the coolant, partially. See: Service and Repair
2. Air cleaner and duct.
3. Coolant recovery reservoir.
4. Upper fan shroud.
5. Lower fan shroud.
6. Fan and clutch from the engine.
7. Electrical connections from the radiator.
8. Clamps from the upper and lower hoses at radiator.
9. Transmission oil cooler lines from the radiator. See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Fluid Line/Hose/Service and
Repair
10. Engine oil cooler lines from the vehicle. See: Engine/Engine Lubrication/Oil Line/Service and Repair
11. Radiator.
INSTALLATION
1. Radiator.
2. Engine oil cooler lines to the vehicle.
3. Transmission oil cooler lines.
4. Clamps to the upper and lower hoses at radiator.
5. Electrical connections to the radiator.
6. Fan and clutch to the engine.
TIGHTEN
^
Fan and clutch retaining bolt/nuts to the following to 24 mm (18 ft. lbs.).
7. Lower fan shroud.
8. Upper fan shroud.
TIGHTEN
^
Upper and lower fan shroud retaining bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).
