Draining Water From Fuel Manager/Filter
Draining Water from Fuel Manager/Filter
1. Turn the engine OFF.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Loosen the fuel filler cap.
4. Attach a flexible tube or hose (1/4 to 5/16 in. I.D.).
5. Place a suitable container under the filter drain.
NOTE: Verify that the ignition is in the OFF position before opening the water drain.
6. Slowly open the water drain valve.
7. Allow filter to drain until clear fuel is observed.
8. Close the drain valve.
9. Start the engine.
10. If the Water in the Fuel lamps comes On again, repeat steps 1 - 4 until all of the water is drained from the fuel manager/filter (if water in the Fuel
lamp keeps coming ON, the fuel tank should be checked for contamination).
11. Dispose of the drained mixture in a proper manner.
