Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor: Service and Repair
APP Module And Mounting Bolts
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution. See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control
Systems/Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the mounting bolts (3).
4. Remove the sensor (2).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the sensor (2) and the mounting bolts (3).
Tighten
^
Tighten the mounting bolts to 1 Nm (10 lb. in.).
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
