CONDITION
Some owners may comment about a loud noise coming from the rear when going over bumps. This noise may be attributed to the rear leaf spring U-bolt
anchor plate contacting the jounce bumper bracket located on the frame rail.
CAUSE
Build variation and tolerance stack-ups between the anchor plate and jounce bumper bracket clearances, causing a metal-to-metal contact point.
CORRECTION
Install a current set of U-bolts and anchor plate (currently used on G3 van models with 4.56 ratio axles RPO HC4). The installation of this set of
