General Motors has determined that some 1982 C10 and 1983 C10-20, K10 Series Light Duty Chevrolet Trucks equipped with 4.1 liter L6 engines and
automatic transmissions may be emitting pollutants in excess of Federal Emission Standards.
The EGR bleed restrictor may have been omitted in the exhaust emission control harness assembly. The absence of this bleed restrictor may result in
poor engine performance and failure to meet NO(x) emission standards.)

should take the steps necessary to be sure the campaign correction has been made before reselling or releasing the vehicle.
Owners of vehicles recently sold from your new vehicle inventory are to be contacted by the dealer, and arrangements made to make the required
modification according to instructions contained in this bulletin.
