Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
Rear Wiper Motor
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Wiper arm assembly.
3. Cover from the wiper motor.
A. Push retainer pin completely out of retainer into cover using a small pin punch. There are four retainers.
B. Remove four retainers and cover. Retainers should remove easily from cover.
C. Retrieve retainer pins from cover.
4. Electrical connectors.
5. Bolt from the wiper motor.
6. Nut, spacer, and washer.
7. Nut.
8. Wiper motor assembly from the vehicle.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Wiper motor assembly to the vehicle.
2. Washer, spacer, and nut to the right side of the motor assembly.
3. Nut to the left side of the motor assembly.
4. Bolt to the wiper motor.
Tighten

Nut to 6 Nm (53 lb. in.).
5. Electrical connector.
6. Cover to the wiper motor.
A. Install cover on wiper motor.
B. Install four retainers in cover.
C. Push four pins into retainers until top surface of pin is flush with top of retainer.
7. Wiper arm assembly.
8. Negative battery cable.
