Remove upper radiator shroud (refer to Radiator Replacement in the Engine Cooling section of the G-Van Service Manual).

Disconnect electrical connector from electronic shutoff solenoid (refer to Figure 1).
Notice:
Remove any debris from the ESO mounting surface on the injection pump before servicing the ESO solenoid. This will prevent contaminant
intrusion into the injection pump.
7.
Install 0-ring seal above threads at bottom of new solenoid.
8.
Install new ESO solenoid, P/N 12561591, into injector pump and torque to 25 N.m (19 lb ft).
9.
Connect electrical connector to ESO solenoid.
10.
Install upper radiator shroud.
11.
Install air duct to turbo inlet.
12.
Install air cleaner assembly.
13.
Start engine and check for leaks.
14.
Install engine cover.
