K 1500 Truck 4WD V8-4.8L VIN V (1999)
4. Install the HVAC module assembly to the vehicle.
5. Install the HVAC module mounting nuts and the screws.
Tighten

Tighten the mounting bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in)

Tighten the mounting nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
6. Connect the electrical harnesses and the ground connections as needed.
7. Install the HVAC module drain hose.
8. Install the instrument panel carrier
9. Install the accumulator.
10. Connect the heater hoses.
11. Connect the negative battery cable.
12. Refill the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
13. Recharge the air conditioning system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
