Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disable the SIR.
3. Disconnect the electrical connection from the stoplamp switch (2).
4. Remove the pushrod retaining clip (4).
5. Remove the stoplamp switch (2).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the stoplamp switch (2).
2. Install the pushrod retaining clip (4).
3. Connect the electrical connection to the stoplamp switch (2).
4. Enable the SIR.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
