K 1500 Truck 4WD V8-5.3L VIN T (2000)
10. Tighten the nut to the intermediate cable at the equalizer.

Tighten the nut to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in).
11. Install the caliper and mounting bracket as an assembly. Refer to Brake Pads Replacement.
12. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
13. Remove the safety stands.
14. Lower the vehicle,
15. Adjust parking brake cable. Refer to Park Brake Lever Adjustment.
