Engine Oil Dip Stick - Dip Stick Tube: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the oil level indicator tube retaining bolt from the cylinder head.
2. Remove the oil level indicator from the tube.
3. Remove the O-ring from the oil level indicator tube.
Installation Procedure
Important: When servicing the oil level indicator tube, always replace the o ring for the oil level indicator tube.
1. Install the oil level indicator tube in the oil pan.
2. Install the retaining nut for the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator and Tube Installation
3. Install the oil level indicator.
