Arming Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation Procedure
1. Install the Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor to the front end lower tie surface and ensure that the arrow is pointing toward the
front of the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor mounting fasteners.
Tighten
Tighten fasteners to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
3. Connect the Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor harness connector to the sensor.
