K 1500 Truck 4WD V8-6.5L DSL Turbo VIN S (1999)
1. Route the hose in the same position the hose occupied prior to removal.
2. Install the power steering gear outlet hose (3) to the power steering gear.

Tighten the power steering gear outlet hose (3) at the power steering gear to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Position the clamp on the pump end of the power steering gear outlet hose.
4. Install the power steering gear outlet hose (3) to the power steering pump.

Tighten the clamp on the power steering gear outlet hose. Fully crimp the clamp until zero gap between both halves is achieved prior to
springback.
5. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
6. Bleed the power steering system.
