Seat Belt Buckle: Service and Repair
Seat Belt Buckle and Latch Replacement - #2 Rear
Suburban/Yukon XL,,
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the door sill plate.
2. Remove the seatbelt anchor bolt cover.
3. Remove the floor anchor bolt.
4. Remove the C-pillar trim panel.
5. Route the belt through trim panel.
6. Remove the lower guide.
7. Remove the bolt from the upper guide.
8. Remove the bolt from the retractor.
9. Remove the assembly from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the assembly to the vehicle.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the bolt to the retractor.
Tighten
Tighten to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).
3. Install the bolt to the upper guide.
Tighten
Tighten to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).
4. Snap lower guide into place.
5. Route the belt through trim panel.
6. Install the C-pillar trim panel.
7. Install the floor anchor bolt.
Tighten
Tighten to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).
8. Install the seat belt anchor bolt cover.
9. Install the door sill plate.
