Wheel Cylinder: Service and Repair
Wheel Cylinder Replacement (Duo-Servo Drum Brakes)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the linings. 
2. Disconnect the brake pipe from the rear of the master cylinder.
3. Remove the bolts.
4. Remove the wheel cylinder.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the wheel cylinder. 

NOTICE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

3. Install the brake pipe.

Tighten
Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 17 Nm (13 lb ft).

4. Install the linings.
