K 2500 Suburban 4WD V8-5.7L VIN R (1999)
1. Install the retainer (3).
2. Install the bracket (2) and master cylinder (1).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the master cylinder nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 36 Nm (27 ft. lbs.).
4. Connect the brake pipes.

Tighten the pipe fittings to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
5. Bleed the brakes.
Master Cylinder Replacement (Hydraulic Booster)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Disconnect the brake pipes.
3. Plug the pipes in order to prevent brake fluid loss or contamination.
4. Remove the master cylinder nuts.
