After the "P1870 Diagnostic Test" has been selected from the Tech 2 menu, the screen will be displayed.

After the vehicle parameters are within specifications, select [ENTER] and "Test in Progress" will flash at the bottom of the Tech 2 screen.
Important:
If the vehicle is not within the following parameters, the test will automatically abort. The Tech 2 will indicate which parameter is not within the
following specifications:

Engine Speed should be between 800-1200 RPM
^
TP Angle should be 5%
^
Transmission Fluid Temperature should be between 16°G (60°F) to 103°C (218°F)
