K 2500 Suburban 4WD V8-5.7L VIN R (1999)
1. Install the drain plug (3).

Tighten the drain plug (3) to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
2. Fill the differential.
3. Install the washer (2) and the fill plug (1).
^
Tighten the fill plug (1) to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the front differential carrier shield.
