25. Install the ECT sensor into the front of the lower intake manifold.
Tighten
Tighten the ECT sensor to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
Important: The EGR valve must be installed in the original orientation.
26. Install a NEW exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve gasket and the EGR valve.
27. Install the EGR valve bolts.
Tighten
a. Tighten the EGR valve bolts on the first pass to 10 Nm (88 lb in).
b. Tighten the EGR valve bolts on the final pass to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).
28. Install the engine coolant thermostat.
