K 2500 Truck 4WD V8-5.3L VIN T (1999)
21. Install the engine sight shield mounting bracket and the bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the engine sight shield mounting bracket bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
22. Tighten the fuel tiller cap.
23. Connect the negative battery cable.
24. Inspect for leaks.
24.1. Turn the ignition switch ON for 2 seconds.
24.2. Turn the ignition switch OFF for 10 seconds.
24.3. Turn the ignition switch ON.
24.4. Check for fuel leaks.
25. Install the engine sight shield.
Tighten
Tighten the engine sight shield bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
