Insert the rubber bumper into the holes from behind the metal seat back hook with the rounded end of the bumper facing downward (1).
3.1.
Pull gently on the finger anchors of the bumper until the bumper is fully seated into the holes (2).
3.2.
Ensure that the bumper is flush with the metal seat back hook.

Wrap the flock tape, GM PIN 15047913, evenly around the rear seat loop (1). Snap the plastic tube, GM P/N 15040391, over the flock tape on the
rear seat loop (2).
Important:
Do not bend the metal seat back hook. Bending the hook may result in improper clearance between the seat back rear seat loop.
5.
Install the rear seat into the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement-Rear Bench in the Seats subsection in the 1999 Silverado and Sierra Service
Manual.
