1999 Chevrolet and GMC C/K Models (Silverado and Sierra) with 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L V8 Engine (VINs V, T, U - RPOs LR4, LM7, LQ4)
Built prior to the illustrated VIN breakpoints.
Condition
Some customers may comment on one or more of the following conditions.
Cause
Calibrations were not optimized for various operating parameters.
Correction
New calibrations have been released to address the conditions listed above.
Perform the existing diagnostic procedures to verify that the DTCs and driveability concerns are not the result of an inoperative component, or a
related wiring or other condition, then reprogram the PCM with the correct calibration listed.
