K 2500 Truck 4WD V8-6.0L VIN U (1999)
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the new exhaust seal (1) to the exhaust manifold.
2. Install the front pipe.
3. Install the front pipe to the exhaust hanger bracket.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the nuts (3) to the exhaust manifold.

Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts to 50 Nm (39 ft. lbs.).
5. Connect the electrical connector to the oxygen sensor.
6. Install the catalytic convertor. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (Heavy Duty-6.0L).
7. Install the rear exhaust system. Refer to Rear Exhaust System Replacement (Heavy Duty-6.0L).
