EGR Control Solenoid: Service and Repair
EGR Control Pressure/BARO Sensor

EGR Control Pressure Sensor

WARNING:  Failure to disconnect the negative battery terminal may result in personal injury or damage to the vehicle's components. Turn
OFF the vehicle ignition, unless instructed otherwise
.

Removal Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable under the following circumstances:

When installing an electrical unit.

^

When a tool or equipment could easily come into contact with "live" exposed electrical terminals.

1. Remove negative battery cable.
2. Remove vacuum harness assembly.
3. Remove electrical connector.
4. Remove mounting bolts.
5. Remove sensor.

Installation Procedure

1. Install mounting bolts with sensor.

Tighten

Tighten mounting bolts to 3.5 Nm (27 lb. in.).

2. Install electrical connector.
3. Install vacuum harness.
4. Install negative battery cable.
