Shift Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE 

1. Remove the oil pan and the oil filter. Refer to AT Fluid/Filter Changing.

2. Remove the accumulator cover bolts.

3. Remove the 1-2 accumulator cover.
4. Remove the piston.
5. Remove the springs.
6. Disconnect the component electrical connectors.

7. Remove the pressure control solenoid retainer bolt/screw.
