3. Install the door to the vehicle.
4. Install a bolt through the lower hinges in order to temporarily hold the door in place.
5. Drive the upper hinge pin with the pointed end up (2) into the upper hinge using a soft-faced hammer.
6. Remove the temporary bolt from the lower hinge.
Drive the lower hinge pin with the pointed end down (2) into the lower hinge using a soft-faced hammer.
7. Install the hinge pin retainers to the hinge pins.

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the door.
2. Remove any excess sealer surrounding the existing hinge and scribe the location of the hinge on the hinge pillar.
3. Lightly hand-sand the existing hinge with 100 grit or finer sandpaper in order to locate the 4 welds that attach the hinge to the pillar.
Important: Punch the center of the weld so that as much of the weld as possible is removed during the drilling. Original punch marks
may not necessarily indicate the center of the weld.
4. Center punch each of the four weld marks on the original hinge.
