Built Prior to the VIN Breakpoints as shown.
Condition
Some drivers may comment about a whine type noise coming from the radio speakers.This condition is more noticeable when the radio is at low volume
and the vehicle is accelerating at lower speeds.
Correction
Bypass the existing ground for the radio and amplifier.
Install a new ground circuit for those components. Use and the procedure and part numbers listed below.
1.
Ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2.
Remove the RH instrument panel (IP) side panel and lower the IP storage compartment.
