Passenger Assist Handle: Service and Repair

Assist Handle Replacement (Utility Rear)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove center pillar trim panel.
2. Remove the assist handle retraining screws.
3. Remove the assist handle from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the assist handle to the vehicle.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the assist handle screws.

Tighten the assist handle screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Install the center pillar trim panel.
