Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement (Accessory)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Accessory) or Drive Belt Replacement (A/C).
2. Remove the bolts and the tensioner assembly.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the tensioner assembly and the bolt.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Accessory) or Drive Belt Replacement (A/C).
