K 2500 Yukon 4WD V8-6.0L VIN U (2000)
1. Lubricate the slip joint splines on the propeller shaft. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations.
2. Install the propeller shaft (2) into the transmission (1) or the transfer case.
3. Install the center bearing support (2).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the center bearing support nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
5. For 2 piece Dana propeller shafts, install the boot (3) on the stub shaft (4) before installation.
