K 2500 Yukon XL 4WD V8-8.1L VIN G (2001)
1. Install the transfer case control rod on the transfer case control lever first.
2. Slide the transfer case control rod forward.
3. Install the transfer case control rod on the transfer case shift control lever.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the transfer case control rod adjusting nut.

Tighten the transfer case control rod adjusting nut to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the front propeller shaft.
6. Install the transfer case shield.
7. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
