REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

Raise the vehicle and support it using safety stands.
1. Drive axle (halfshaft).
2. Drain front axle.
3. Electrical connectors (131).
4. Axle shaft (output shaft) nuts (130) and washers (126).
5. Axle shaft (output shaft) bolts (6) from carrier (24).
6. Axle shaft (output shaft) tube from carrier.

Take care to keep the open end of the tube up.
7. Bearing (4). Use J 29369-2 and a slide hammer.
