K 3500 Truck 4WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo VIN 1 (2001)
11. Remove the 2 nuts for the coolant duct from the engine flywheel housing.
12. Remove the 2 bolts for the coolant duct from the oil filter adapter and the oil cooler assembly.
13. Remove the coolant duct.
14. Remove the oil filter adapter and 5 oil cooler assembly bolts.
15. Remove the oil filter adapter and oil cooler assembly with the water pump outlet pipe.
16. Remove the oil filter adapter and oil cooler assembly 2 O-ring seals.
17. Remove the water pump outlet pipe from the oil cooler assembly.
18. Remove the water pump outlet pipe O-ring.
Inspection and Repair
1. Clean the water pump outlet pipe.
2. Inspect the water pump outlet pipe for cracks.
3. Inspect the water pump outlet pipe mating surfaces for damage.
