Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair
HIGH MOUNTED STOPLAMP REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Ensure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.
2. Remove the high mounted stoplamp screws.
3. Remove the high mounted stoplamp from the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the high mounted stoplamp to the vehicle.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the high mounted stoplamp screws.
Tighten
Tighten the high mounted stoplamp screws to 2 N.m (17 lb in).
4. Inspect the operation.
