K 3500 Truck 4WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo VIN 1 (2001)
1. Install a new a O-ring (3) on the speed sensor (2). Lubricate the O-ring with clean transmission fluid.
2. Install the new speed sensor (2) into the speed sensor bore. Align the hole in the retaining bracket with the bolt hole in the speed sensor boss.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the speed sensor bolt (1).

Tighten bolt (1) to 12 Nm (108 inch lbs.).
4. Reconnect the external wiring harness to the speed sensor.
