Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
3. Remove the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor from the air cleaner outlet duct.
4. Remove the air cleaner from the wheel housing by pulling upward until the serrated retaining pin releases from the mounting bracket. Continue
rotating the air cleaner upwards until the air cleaner inlet duct is separated from the fender.
